HydroPro — complete drainage and wastewater infrastructure systems

Hydropro BG Ltd. has started implementing the project “Introduction of Industry 4.0 Technologies at Hydropro BG” under grant agreement No. BG16RFPR001-1.008-0436-C01. The project is carried out with financial support from the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Programme 2021-2027 (PCIE), co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.

The overall objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness and sustainable growth of Hydropro BG Ltd. by introducing Industry 4.0 technologies that digitalise and automate key commercial and engineering processes in the development of solutions and prototypes for water supply and sewerage infrastructure, which are contracted out to external manufacturers for production.

The project will introduce technologies including:

• Digitalisation and integration of business management through an ERP system.
• A large-format 3D printer for producing prototypes of parts and assemblies for water, sewerage and infrastructure projects.
• An industrial robotic manipulator with a positioner and offline CAD/CAM programming for robotic milling, machining and welding of prototypes.
• Modern cybersecurity solutions — a hardware firewall, endpoint protection, and centralised monitoring and incident response.

The total value of the project is EUR 456,685.90. The grant amounts to EUR 228,342.95 (50% of the budget), and Hydropro BG Ltd.'s own co-financing is EUR 228,342.95. The project has a duration of 15 months and will be implemented from 22 July 2026 to 22 October 2027.
